The purpose of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Speak Up & Out Toastmasters was created by and for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community of the Twin Cities, and enhances the opportunities of Toastmasters International by providing an open environment that is professional, affirming, and FUN.
